About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled MariaDB SME/Technical Architect to support a critical on-premises ServiceNow implementation. In this role, you will design, configure, and optimize a distributed multi-site MariaDB instance. Success in this position requires expert-level MariaDB skills combined with a deep understanding of ServiceNow's functionality and its specific use of the database to deliver highly available and reliable services.
You will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with ServiceNow administrators to ensure the database is fully aligned with and optimally utilized by the application. Your expertise will guide junior developers and project teams through code reviews, version control, and security compliance, while also translating complex business needs into technical specifications through workshops and design reviews.
