Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Cables Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift - Level 3) to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This position is fully on-site and operates on a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this role, you will partner with engineers to perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including set-up, calibration, soldering, rework, and quality testing for the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
You will utilize work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical manuals to assemble aerospace cables and harnesses to precise specifications. The role involves using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Additionally, you may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and work with engineers to conduct experiments.
