About the Team

The Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Operating under one roof, the team manages zero or low-emission power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. The division focuses on decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and the digitalization of the fleet.

About the Role

As a Blue Light Operator, you will be responsible for the part-to-fixture setup and operation of an automated optical measuring and inspection station. Your day involves verifying components according to work orders and engineering instructions, managing daily calibrations, and maintaining calibration logs and individual component data files.

You will ensure the accurate work instruction is pulled up on the production system screen while performing operations. A key part of your impact involves examining finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications, moving processed parts to the next area, and maintaining the flow and quality of production. You will also continuously perform improvement analysis, communicating effectively with supervisors, quality inspectors, and other operators to uphold quality standards. Additionally, you will check for safety opportunities or near-misses and verify that physical parts serial numbers match those on the router.
