Butler America Aerospace is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to join a specialized team dedicated to creating process plans for military aircraft derivative and modification programs. Our team operates at the intersection of complex engineering and precise execution, supporting critical defense initiatives. We value candidates from diverse backgrounds, including aircraft, spacecraft, maritime, and weapon systems industries, with a strong preference for those familiar with Boeing aircraft programs and tools.
This position focuses on electrical installation planning, primarily driving the strategy for wire harness installations and related systems. You will work within a collaborative environment reporting to Butler project leadership, interacting closely with peers, project leads, and checkers. The role offers a unique opportunity to grow into checking or Work Breakdown Structure functions, with potential exposure to other disciplines such as structures, hydraulics, fuel, oxygen, and waste water systems.
Success in this role requires interpreting complex engineering data, including 2D drawings and bills of material, to produce detailed work packages using MESci (BOM and CAPP modules). You will be expected to incorporate check comments and ensure adherence to specific Boeing processes and specifications, such as adhesives, sealants, electrical bonding, grounding, and fastener torque. Candidates with prior experience in Boeing commercial aircraft programs (737, 747, 777, 787) or those capable of obtaining Boeing system access are highly valued.
Candidates must be US Persons and able to be granted Boeing system access. The application deadline is May 1, 2026. Interested applicants should submit their resume and relevant experience details to be considered for this remote opportunity.
