The Territory Management - Distribution group focuses on cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction within a specified product line and geography. The team sells products and services that facilitate patient care, primarily by optimizing the supply chain and managing product selection.
The Manager, Territory Sales - Distribution is accountable for regional sales, profit, and expenses within the Distribution business. This role leads and develops a team to create new partnerships within the healthcare industry while strengthening relationships with the current customer base. You will work closely with all departments and sales groups to execute sales and corporate strategies, expanding the sales base within key accounts.
In this position, you will direct selling activities within the region, including resource deployment and customer interactions. The role involves managing a team responsible for individual account management, relationship development, and sales transactions. You will also coordinate sales activities with Contracts, Operations, and Marketing to drive projects and deals through to completion. Success in this role requires creating growth through customer base expansion and leading contract negotiations while maintaining and expanding the customer base by counseling the team and identifying new opportunities.
