Territory Management - Distribution within Cardinal Health's Direct Sales group drives sales and services to new and existing customers through face-to-face and telephone contact. The team focuses on cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. The core mission involves selling products and services that facilitate patient care by optimizing the supply chain and managing product selection.
The Manager, Territory Sales - Distribution is accountable for regional sales, profit, and expenses within the Distribution business. This role leads and develops a team to create new partnerships within the healthcare industry while strengthening relationships with the current customer base. You will work closely with all departments and sales groups to execute sales and corporate strategies, expanding the sales base within key accounts.
In this position, you will direct selling activities within the region, including resource deployment and customer interactions. The role involves managing a team responsible for individual account management, relationship development, and sales transactions. You will also coordinate sales activities with Contracts, Operations, and Marketing to drive projects and deals through to completion.
This position will cover the central region of the United States, including Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
