About the Team

Amazon Leo is an initiative dedicated to increasing global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. By delivering connectivity to consumers, businesses, government agencies, and organizations operating in areas without reliable internet, Amazon Leo aims to close the digital divide.

The Leo Supply Chain team partners closely with various functions across the silicon teams and the wider Amazon organization. We develop systems software and AI solutions specific to silicon operations, ensuring the infrastructure that supports our satellite manufacturing and deployment is robust, scalable, and secure.

About the Role

As a Systems Manager, you will lead end-to-end program management for large-scale productivity and system implementation initiatives, guiding them from conception through delivery and operations. You will define the program vision, strategy, and roadmaps that align with business objectives and technical capabilities.

In this role, you will drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and business teams. You will architect and implement infrastructure solutions that provide visibility and predictive analytics in manufacturing processes at suppliers, ensuring system and solution stack reliability, scalability, and security across distributed environments. A key part of your day will involve driving continuous improvement programs that leverage AI for process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction.

You will communicate complex technical concepts and program status to diverse audiences, including executives and non-technical stakeholders, influencing without authority to achieve program objectives. The ideal candidate has a successful track record of developing and delivering system integration in Unix/Linux environments or distributed systems.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, please submit your resume through the Amazon Jobs portal. The hiring process typically involves reviewing your background for alignment with our mission, followed by interviews focused on technical program management, system architecture, and cross-functional leadership.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Our Culture & Commitment to Diversity

If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit amazon.jobs for more information.

Los Angeles County Applicants: Job duties for this position include working safely and cooperatively with others, adhering to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions, and communicating effectively to ensure exceptional customer service.
