Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Subcontracts 3 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain Subcontracts organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
As a Manager Subcontracts 3, you will lead a team of approximately 15 individual contributors and 2 managers through the execution of all phases of the Subcontracts lifecycle. You will support a dynamic, fast-paced restricted program, sourcing and procuring specialized goods and services while owning contractual management and responsibility for suppliers.
You will drive strategic and targeted negotiations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and manage risk. Your day-to-day involves developing subcontract specifications, managing performance to ensure compliance with public law and company policies, and utilizing process tools like Lean Six Sigma to drive quality and continuous improvement. You will also manage and develop strategic/key suppliers and review supplier payments as needed.

Active TS/SCI or Secret Clearance. Master Degree in Business, Global Supply Chain or Project Management. Experience working on high dollar production and/or development Subcontracts with complex contract types. Experience conducting presentations to and collaborating with Senior Leadership. Internal Northrop Grumman Subcontracts experience. Knowledge of Earned Value Management System. CAM Experience or Training. Risk mitigation experience. Negotiating skills with contract in excess of $100 million.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required with 7 years experience; Master's Degree required with 5 years experience; High School Diploma with 11 years experience.
