CACI Enterprise Services is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our nation by advancing our country's most critical missions. We place character and innovation at the center of everything we do, fostering a culture of integrity where every team member is driven by a higher purpose.
As an Associate Buyer within our Contracts team, you will play a vital part in our procurement operations. Working under close supervision, you will prepare and administer purchase orders for materials, ensuring strict compliance with client requirements, government regulations, and internal procurement policies. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the logistical backbone of our national security missions.
You will typically manage purchasing activities valued up to $150,000, with the opportunity to handle higher-value tasks under the guidance of senior staff. Your day-to-day involves reviewing requisitions, soliciting and evaluating bids, and selecting suppliers to award purchase orders. Beyond the initial award, you will negotiate terms regarding price, quality, and delivery, and maintain oversight on all awarded orders until the goods or services are fully delivered. You will also be responsible for recruiting and maintaining a responsive supplier base that provides high-quality products at fair prices, while handling complex issues such as damage claims, rejections, and engineering change orders.
At CACI, we value the unique contributions every employee brings to our company and our customers. We strive to create an environment of trust where you have the autonomy to take the time you need through our unique flexible time off benefit. We are also committed to your continuous growth, offering robust learning resources to help you make your ambitions a reality.
Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support and protect employees and their families, including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits. We offer competitive compensation and a flexible work environment that allows you to balance quality work with your personal life.
CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other protected characteristic.
