Ecoplexus is a rapidly-growing developer of large-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects serving corporate and utility energy purchasers. Headquartered in San Francisco, we design, build, finance, own, and operate projects across the US, Mexico, and Asia. Since our founding in 2009, we have grown at an annual rate of over 50%, driving significant change in the renewable energy industry.
We are seeking self-starters with imagination, creativity, and vision who are passionate about the future of renewable energy. Our dynamic growth environment offers the capacity to assume increasing responsibility and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
As the Manager, Solar Permitting - West, you will report directly to the Southeast Permitting Manager and serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders. This role is designed for a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced setting, bridging the gap between engineering, finance, real estate, and legal disciplines to navigate complex zoning and permitting landscapes.
You will work remotely with the flexibility to travel to project sites and local permitting jurisdictions as needed. Your day will involve coordinating consultants, managing timelines for environmental assessments, and representing Ecoplexus at critical meetings with state and federal authorities, planning boards, and city councils. Success in this role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel significantly to ensure projects move forward efficiently.
We value transparency and efficiency in our recruitment. While specific steps may vary, candidates can expect a process that includes an initial conversation to discuss background and fit, followed by deeper technical discussions to evaluate problem-solving abilities and industry knowledge. We look for individuals who demonstrate the drive to achieve and the capacity to work independently within a larger team.
Ecoplexus is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
Note: No third-party solicitations will be accepted for this or any other Ecoplexus position.
