Our professionals provide assurance, tax, and advisory services for a diverse range of clients across the U.S. and in over 160 countries.
We are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to middle-market leaders by sharing insight-driven perspectives. We welcome diverse perspectives, empower team members to explore their full potential, and celebrate ingenuity to transform our business and help our clients navigate complex challenges.
The CDBG Grants Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting disaster recovery programs across Central and West Florida. This position extends beyond standard grant administration to support new multifamily housing, rehabilitation projects, infrastructure improvements, public services, and public facilities initiatives.
You will serve as a key partner in project-level management and compliance oversight. Your day-to-day involves monitoring program activities, providing technical guidance to clients, and supporting program design to ensure funded activities meet CDBG-DR eligibility and align with approved action plans. You will act as a bridge between federal regulations and on-the-ground execution, advising clients on national objectives, duplication of benefits determinations, and tie-back documentation. In a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you will collaborate with government staff, engineers, and consultants to resolve compliance issues in real time, preventing disallowed costs and ensuring audit readiness.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape program policies and procedures while working within a firm that values individuality and offers flexibility and opportunities for advancement.
Candidates who are a strong fit for this role are encouraged to apply. Please note that the preferred candidate will reside in the Tampa Bay or Orlando area to effectively support the regional program needs.
BDO is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and veterans. We are committed to understanding the experience of our professionals and clients and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
