About the Role
The Production Manager will oversee production processes at the Portland location, ensuring all safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This role is designed to consistently find ways to improve organizational production processes while building and leading a team to meet strategic goals. The ideal candidate will manage resources harmoniously to cultivate an atmosphere of teamwork, respect, and accountability.
In this position, you will work directly with Safety Compliance, Quality, and Engineering departments to exceed standards and resolve operational problems. You will establish daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, monitor manpower and training plans, and develop long-range production strategies. A key part of the role involves mentoring teams to achieve significant results and developing future leaders.

- check_circleEnsure compliance with factory rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
- check_circleEnsure safety standards are followed and collaborate with Safety Compliance Manager to improve programs
- check_circlePlan and establish production priorities while monitoring department loads and delivery dates
- check_circleCoordinate production activities with engineering, procurement, and maintenance to optimize resource utilization
- check_circleEstablish daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure timelines are achieved and communicated
- check_circleDevelop long-range production plans and capital improvements for the facility
- check_circleRecruit, interview, hire, and train new staff while providing timely performance evaluations
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree preferred
- verifiedMinimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment

Bachelor's Degree. Experience in Production Management within Manufacturing, specifically with Power Transmission products.
