Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage complex fact-finding investigations for complaints of unlawful discrimination and retaliation
- check_circleServe as Deputy Title IX Coordinator and support institutional compliance programs
- check_circleAssign incoming complaints to investigators and approve investigation plans and interview questions
- check_circleReview and edit investigation reports with findings of fact and provide recommendations to leadership
- check_circleConduct Title IX, Clery, and discrimination-related training across the institution
- check_circlePublish Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports as Institutional Clery Officer
- check_circleIdentify institutional risks related to Clery Act compliance and implement compliance program plans
- check_circleSupervise investigators, set expectations, and provide coaching to department staff
Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree in a relevant field
- verified4 years of experience conducting investigations in higher education, Human Resources, or Title IX compliance
- verifiedTerminal degree (J.D.) preferred
- verified5 years of relevant experience preferred
- verified1 year of experience supervising employees preferred
Nice to Have
Terminal degree (J.D.), five (5) years of relevant experience, at least one (1) year of experience supervising employees, and experience conducting and managing complex legal and regulatory investigations.
