About the Role
SAAB is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing to lead our Manufacturing & Production operations within the Defense & Aerospace sector. This role is critical to ensuring the on-time, high-quality delivery of complex defense systems in a highly innovative and collaborative environment.
You will oversee day-to-day shop-floor activities, driving operational excellence by translating engineering and program requirements into executable production plans. The position involves managing production teams, optimizing processes through lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to align manufacturing with broader program objectives.
In this role, you will foster a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation. You will coach and develop production supervisors, technicians, and operators to build a high-performing team while monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, and ensuring strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and defense industry standards.
