About the Role
As the Manager, Manufacturing, you will lead our shop-floor activities with a focus on driving operational excellence and ensuring the on-time, high-quality delivery of our defense systems. This role exists to bridge the gap between engineering requirements and executable production plans, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met.
In this position, you will oversee a high-performing team of supervisors, technicians, and operators, coaching them to achieve their full potential. Your day will involve translating complex program requirements into actionable schedules, coordinating closely with Systems Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to align manufacturing with broader program objectives. You will champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions that improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Beyond daily operations, you will play a pivotal role in new product introductions and production ramp-ups, supporting first article builds and process validation. By participating in design and process reviews, you will help improve manufacturability and reduce production risk. Ultimately, you will manage manufacturing budgets and resources while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation across the organization.
