About the Role

You will lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based enterprise data analytics ecosystem. This role is pivotal in executing American Airlines' enterprise data strategy for both structured and unstructured data sources, creating a single data platform that supports data exploration, discovery, analytics, and reporting.

In this position, you will manage a team of data engineers to build and support enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and data hub models. You will tackle challenges with flexibility and grace, working with IT partners to design and implement use cases that lead to viable, funded new projects. Your day-to-day involves driving the scalability of data pipelines, ensuring reliable and secure data delivery across the enterprise, and providing technical mentorship to attract and develop top-level talent.
