This position is responsible for managing and implementing a strategic, measurable internal communications program that supports and advances the Memorial Hermann strategies, mission, vision, and values. The role serves internal audiences including employees, physicians, volunteers, and board members.
In this capacity, you will design and execute comprehensive internal communications plans, working collaboratively with Communications, corporate, and hospital leaders to achieve plan objectives. You will set and maintain graphic and editorial standards, ensuring quality and consistency in all writing and design. The role involves creating diverse deliverables such as memos, talking points, video scripts, and presentations.
Beyond content creation, you will foster teamwork and cooperation among the division's staff and other departments. You will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and mentoring staff, while promoting individual professional growth. As a leader, you will collaborate on annual budgets and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and standards regarding safe care for patients, staff, and visitors.
Note: This is a 2-year temporary position.
