L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manager to join its team of Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) professionals. This role is designed to oversee and manage a department responsible for planning and coordinating the preparation of project documentation, including engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications.
In this position, you will ensure that all customer contract requirements are met while managing personnel and executing critical tasks. You will lead the setup of new programs, including the creation of Configuration Management plans and baselines. A key part of your day will involve implementing and maintaining an Engineering Change Request System to support product improvements, repairs, and new product development. You will serve as the bridge between Engineering, Quality, Operations, Program Management, Contracts, and government customers to ensure changes are documented appropriately and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
This position is located in Salt Lake City, UT, and operates on a 9/80 schedule. Employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.

Experience with Configuration and Change Management processes, techniques, tools, related assignments (System, Hardware, Software), and project related work. Experience in a leadership role, communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with configuration management standards, including EIA-649C. Ability to handle critique from internal and external audits and resolve audit findings, including CARs. Good written and verbal communication skills to allow effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams. Quality minded, with focus on data quality, process, and version control. Detail oriented and organized. Critical thinking and analytical, with research skills. Working knowledge of contract requirements identification, engineering design documentation, and build and test processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter. Configuration Management certifications.
