As a Manager, Application Development – Specification Management, you will set goals and objectives for the team that maintains, integrates, and implements product lifecycle management (PLM) and specification management applications across Cargill. This role is pivotal in supporting a product team working to scale the use of SAP PLM across multiple parts of the business. You will coordinate the team responsible for software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates.
In this position, you will act as a key point of contact for users, responding to support requests and prioritizing enhancements while supervising day-to-day technical application support activities. You will lead the team in performing programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases. Additionally, you will coach team members and partner with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business partners, to ensure configurations align with standards and project goals. The role also involves maintaining positive relationships with software vendors and negotiating complex contracts.
