About the Role
We are seeking fluent Mam interpreters to support a client serving minor populations. In this role, you will act as a vital communication liaison, facilitating accurate and culturally appropriate interactions between minors and Care Staff, as well as other authorized personnel. Your work ensures mutual understanding and clarity in a variety of care and service settings, adhering to the highest professional standards of ethics and confidentiality.
You will serve as the bridge for critical communication, relaying important deadlines, instructions, and questions from staff to minors in their native or preferred language. Conversely, you will assist minors in expressing concerns, questions, or information to staff when they are not fluent or comfortable speaking English. Beyond direct interpretation, you will aid in orienting minors to community resources and help staff build rapport by providing essential cultural context for the populations served.
Services are provided primarily in person at client service sites, with additional support delivered via telephone, videoconference, or other virtual platforms as needed. The role may require 24/7 availability to meet client needs.

Requirements
