A-Line Staffing is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Test Technician position in Durham, NC. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a Fortune 500 company, providing strong potential for long-term career growth.
The selected candidate will serve as a Manufacturing Production Test Technician specializing in Vial Fill Systems. In this capacity, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing Parata Max vial-filling machines. Your primary mission is to ensure every unit meets rigorous quality, performance, and customer configuration standards prior to shipment. You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to support production schedules and shipping deadlines.
This position begins with a first-shift training period from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM lasting 4–6 weeks. Following training, the regular shift runs from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The contract is designed to last 12 months, with conversion to full-time status contingent upon attendance, performance, and business needs. Full-time benefits become available after 90 days of employment.
To succeed in this environment, reliable transportation is required. The role involves occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Safety is a priority; steel or composite toe safety shoes are mandatory, while safety glasses are provided.
