About the Role
As a member of the Engineering & Facilities team at our Wailea, Hawaii location, you will be the backbone of our property's operational excellence. This role exists to ensure a seamless, safe, and comfortable environment for our long-stay guests. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests, resolving maintenance issues with minimal supervision while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of proactive and reactive tasks. You will perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, troubleshoot complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, and handle everything from minor drywall repairs to replacing electrical switches and outlets. Beyond technical repairs, you will program guest TVs, manage inventory, and assist with surface preparation and painting. A key part of your mission is to mentor junior engineers and take on Engineer on Duty responsibilities, ensuring that safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout are strictly followed and that all activities are communicated effectively across shifts.
