About the Role

The Maintenance Technician II is the frontline guardian of property condition and resident satisfaction. You will be responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by residents throughout the branch city market. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Maintenance Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Your day will involve reviewing the daily calendar for assigned work orders, ensuring all necessary repair information is gathered and supplies are on hand. You will schedule tasks and communicate directly with residents regarding expected arrival times, ensuring a seamless experience. A core part of your mission is to complete all requested property maintenance within our service level agreement (SLA) turn-around times. This includes property walks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry repairs, and external asset repairs.

Beyond the repairs themselves, you will ensure all work orders are closed out timely while on-site, document completed work with before-and-after photos, and track supplies and tool usage. You will also perform rekeying and specific securing work to maintain property conditions, as well as conduct effective pre-move-in audits and repairs to ensure a great move-in experience for new residents. You will serve as a resource to peers and maintain a fundamental knowledge of the business, with a clear path to grow into the Maintenance Technician Lead role.
