This position serves as a critical bridge between operations leadership and hands-on maintenance, accelerating business value through the reliable operation of manufacturing and processing systems. As an apprentice-level maintenance professional, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the plant's physical property and equipment, ensuring seamless production workflows.
You will operate machinery, execute preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform minor facility repairs. The role demands a continuous improvement mindset, where you actively utilize lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and A3 analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and value creation for our customers, employees, and shareholders.
While this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, you may occasionally assist in directing production workflow based on equipment output. You will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager, Regional VP, and Engineering teams, while maintaining professional relationships with external vendors and contractors.

The role is based in our Dallas, Texas facility and operates in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Working conditions vary from standard areas to zones with extreme temperature fluctuations, electrical hazards, ammonia exposure, and heavy moving equipment. The position requires the ability to work nights and weekends, with occasional travel and overtime as needed. You must be prepared to manage stress, respond quickly to alarms or emergency situations, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 45 lbs and operating both hand and heavy electric tools.

Completion of ONE of the following Certifications: Programmable Logic Controller Certification (Electronics Technicians Association International), Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical Disciplines (State Certifying Authority), Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association), Certified Maintenance Technician Level III (International Maintenance Institute), or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals).
