Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support automated candy and protein bar food packaging lines in the Dearborn, MI area. This role is critical for ensuring the continuous operation of our clients' production facilities, where precision and reliability directly impact their output.

As a technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for installation, maintenance, and repair of complex packaging machinery. Your day will involve traveling to client sites to troubleshoot electromechanical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, servos, motion controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You will work on a diverse range of equipment, from flow wrappers and pouchers to form-fill-seal machines and conveyor sorters. Beyond technical repairs, you will manage service contract accounts, provide estimates for out-of-scope instrumentation repairs, and maintain detailed service records. You will also support the sales team by conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
