About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our automated candy and protein bar packaging lines in Austin, MN. This field service role is critical to maintaining continuous plant operations and ensuring high efficiency across our machinery, including flow wrappers, pouchers, and complex motion control systems.
In this position, you will serve as a mechanical acceptance specialist for newly installed equipment and assist in the review of new purchases to ensure proper selection and spare parts availability. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating preventive maintenance programs, administering work orders, and performing routine vibration analyses on large rotating machines to maintain equipment integrity. You will also play a key role in standardizing pumps, valves, and instruments to simplify maintenance workflows and reduce manufacturing costs.
Regional Travel & Support
This position requires regional travel to support maintenance crews and provide technical support regarding mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance programs. You will work on routine, shutdown, and project activities to ensure our facilities run smoothly.
