About the Role
Join a fast-growing organization as a Regional Field Service Technician Mechanic, where you will lead maintenance and technical support activities for consumer product processing and packaging facilities. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for facilities producing snacks and confections, ensuring the seamless operation of automated candy and protein bar packaging lines.
You will manage, organize, and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance teams, providing training and professional development to foster a culture of safety and excellence. Your day-to-day involves directing and coaching staff in safe work practices to achieve zero employee injuries, while managing preventive and predictive repairs for critical infrastructure including PLCs, ammonia compressors, cooling towers, refrigeration systems, boilers, and sanitation systems.
Success in this position requires close collaboration with Production, Quality, Food Safety, and Project departments to resolve technical and operational issues efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing financial resources within the annual operating budget for the Maintenance Department, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising safety or output.
Location and Travel
Based in Lexington, SC, this role involves regional travel to support multiple facilities. The position is designed for candidates comfortable with a dynamic environment that requires moving between sites to maintain high standards of machinery performance.
