We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our automated candy and protein bar packaging lines in Spanaway, WA. This field service technician role is critical to maintaining high efficiency and continuous plant operations. You will serve as a mechanical acceptance specialist for newly installed equipment and play a key part in optimizing our preventive maintenance programs.
Your day-to-day involves coordinating maintenance schedules, administering work orders, and performing routine vibration analyses on large rotating machines. You will also assist in the pre-planning of turnarounds and shutdowns, ensuring proper sequencing and resource allocation. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to promoting plant standardization to reduce costs and simplify maintenance workflows.
As a member of our maintenance crew, you will provide technical support regarding mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and lubrication programs. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Planner to review stock levels, recommend inventory adjustments, and ensure the integrity of our machinery through data-driven corrective actions.
