Self Storage Consulting Group (SSCG) is a nationwide full-service storage firm offering expertise throughout the life cycle of any storage asset, from due diligence and feasibility studies to design, build, and management.
This position is a hybrid role dedicated to maintaining the building, grounds, and safety of SSCG storage properties, primarily located in Pleasant Grove and Springville. The role is critical for ensuring curb appeal, operational efficiency, and safe access for customers and tenants.
You will serve as the first line of defense for facility integrity, performing daily maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds. Your day will involve a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks, including repairing roll-up doors, maintaining lighting systems, ensuring units are clean and ready for rent, and managing the cleanliness of offices and bathrooms. You will also be responsible for inventorying tools, utilizing facility log books, and coordinating with vendors for specialized repairs.
A significant portion of this role focuses on winter operations. You will operate snow plows, salt spreaders, and other removal equipment to clear snow and ice from roadways, driveways, parking lots, and walkways. This requires monitoring weather conditions and responding promptly to ensure safe surfaces for all users.
This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires working in all outdoor conditions, including exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels. The physical nature of the job involves frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and performing repetitive motions.
