Founded in 1986, Asset Living is a proven partner in fostering thriving communities nationwide. What began as a small property management firm has grown into one of the most trusted allies in real estate, managing a diverse portfolio that spans multifamily, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent, active adult, and student housing divisions.
We are a fast-growing company driven by talented individuals from diverse backgrounds who differentiate us and help us drive innovation. At Asset Living, we wholeheartedly believe 'Together We Lead, Together We Succeed.' We empower each other to lead by example, collaborate, and evolve, creating an environment where every voice is heard and every idea is valued. Recognized as one of the nation's Best and Brightest Places to Work and ranked in the NMHC top 50 professionals, we are an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) and a member of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be the backbone of our property operations, ensuring that our communities remain safe, functional, and welcoming. You will assist in carrying out a full spectrum of maintenance processes, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work. Your role is critical in executing the make-ready process to prepare units for new residents, aligning with the property's operational objectives under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
Your day-to-day involves more than just repairs; you will be the face of the community for residents. You will respond to service requests in a timely manner, manage customer service interactions to project a favorable image of the community, and enforce community policies. From maintaining swimming pools and grounds to inspecting buildings for hazardous conditions, you will ensure the physical integrity of the property while adhering to strict safety standards and OSHA guidelines. This is a hands-on role where you will utilize property resources economically and maintain accurate records of all service requests and maintenance activities.
