As a Service Technician at a stabilized mid-rise property, you will be the frontline guardian of the physical environment, ensuring that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar's high standards. This role is vital for maintaining resident satisfaction and property value through proactive care and rapid response.
Your day-to-day involves diagnosing and repairing defects in response to resident service requests, as well as executing preventative maintenance schedules. You will play a key role in the "make-ready" process, preparing vacant apartments for new residents by conducting inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and ensuring all work is completed to specification. Beyond individual units, you will contribute to the broader property experience by maintaining grounds, pressure-washing common areas, and performing general cleaning tasks.
This position requires a hands-on approach to cost control and safety. You will be expected to fix rather than replace parts when possible, manage inventory responsibly, and strictly adhere to safety and risk-management policies. You will also assist in inspecting contractor work and identifying safety concerns during routine property inspections.
