About the Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your duty is to anticipate, identify, and correct any problems involving the property while implementing procedures to prevent future issues. An effective maintenance program is essential to maintain a safe environment, cultivate resident satisfaction, and protect the investment of the apartment property owner.
In this role, you will oversee the entire maintenance team and manage work orders to ensure timely completion. You will confirm that apartments are updated and move-in ready, perform mechanical walks for construction, and monitor inventory to order supplies as needed. You will schedule vendors and contractors, working side-by-side with construction to address issues, and use expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing the proper storage and management of hazardous materials. Additionally, you will inspect the condition of physical properties throughout the community and correct unsafe conditions.
