The Maintenance Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting the Director of Engineering in the daily operation of the Engineering Department. This role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and operational oversight, including direct responsibility for loading dock operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all building systems, back-of-house logistics, and guest-facing facilities operate safely, efficiently, and seamlessly in alignment with luxury hospitality standards.
In this position, you will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence. You will approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, and service-oriented manner, communicating effectively with all departments to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction. You will actively participate in energy conservation programs per Highgate Hotel's standards and ensure the hotel remains in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
