Based at the Hampton Inn Johnson City, the Chief Engineer serves as the operational leader for the engineering division. This role is critical to ensuring the property remains a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for both guests and staff. The Chief Engineer will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel's physical assets, including equipment, grounds, and facilities, while driving energy conservation and preventative maintenance initiatives.
In this position, you will lead a team of engineering staff, fostering a culture of customer service, empowerment, and loss prevention. You will act as a key partner to the hotel's leadership, contributing to financial forecasting, budget management, and the resolution of complex operational challenges. The role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all emergency systems are certified and that guest concerns are addressed with promptness and courtesy.
