About the Role

This position serves as the mechanical expert supporting the production team, ensuring that production and support equipment function properly in a fast-paced processed and refrigerated foods manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative and urgent maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and complete corrective work orders to minimize downtime. The role requires a hands-on approach to dismantling and assembling machines for sanitation or production needs, performing basic electrical duties, and managing package changeovers. Beyond technical repairs, you will train production team members on mechanical processes and focus on continuous improvement to eliminate waste. Your work will be recorded within a CMMS system, and you will help maintain control of MRO inventory while ensuring a safe and clean work environment in compliance with SWI's and GMP's.

Working Environment

The role is based in a wet or dry environment with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 115°F. The position may require lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and working flexible hours, including short-notice overtime and weekend scheduling, to meet production demands.
