As a Tire Technician, you will work under general supervision reporting to a Manager. Your primary mission is to ensure the fleet remains operational and safe by conducting thorough inspections for irregular wear, flats, and air pressure issues. You will be responsible for mounting and dismounting tires and wheels, performing necessary repairs, and investigating underlying mechanical problems to prevent future failures. This role requires a hands-on approach, involving a variety of manual tasks where you will stand, bend, and squat for extended periods while handling equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
Candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-screen drug test. Successful applicants will be expected to provide their own basic hand tools and toolbox, as well as proper safety footwear. The position requires a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to the worksite.
