About the Role
This position is dedicated to the assembly, repair, and fabrication of metal parts. You will operate mechanical equipment to build sub-units and complete units, relying on blueprints and design sketches to ensure all finished products meet precise dimensions and tolerance levels.
Schedule
This role operates on the Second Shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCalculate and set machine controls to regulate speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth of cut
- check_circleStart and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions and adjust controls as required
- check_circleInstall machined replacement parts in mechanisms and test unit operation to ensure functionality
- check_circleFabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts and assemble machined components into complete units
- check_circleFit and assemble parts into complete assemblies using jigs, fixtures, and hand or power tools
- check_circleOperate welding equipment to cut or weld parts and develop specifications from general descriptions
- check_circleVerify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- check_circleSelect, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on various machine tools
