About the Role
We are seeking a detailed and proactive Machine Operator to join our team on the night shift. This role is vital to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing environment. You will be trained to operate various machines and learn the processes related to manufacturing steel wire products. Success in this position requires the ability to identify and resolve simple mechanical problems, such as stalls or jams, while adhering to strict facility standards and production specifications.
Your day will involve operating designated machinery, performing quality checks according to ASTM standards, and conducting equipment inspections to ensure mechanical integrity. You will also use computer systems to track daily production activity and collaborate effectively within a team environment. A strong foundation in mechanical and analytical skills, combined with great judgment and initiative, is essential for navigating complex machinery and ensuring safe work habits.
Schedule
This position operates on a Monday-Thursday schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
