About the Role
The Machine Operator is the backbone of our custom commercial cabinetry and millwork production. In this role, you will operate woodworking machinery and equipment to cut, shape, and prepare solid surface components, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for translating shop drawings and blueprints into finished products, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining the equipment that keeps our production line moving.
This position offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where mechanical aptitude meets craftsmanship. Beyond the shop floor, you may occasionally support field installation crews, assisting with on-site adjustments or installations of millwork and solid surface products. Success in this role requires a commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing facility where you will be exposed to wood dust, noise, and machinery. Adherence to safety protocols is paramount; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required. The role involves physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 75 lbs. Occasional field work may be required to support installation efforts.
