If you enjoy learning about and using the latest technology, can work safely and efficiently as part of a team, and are looking for an opportunity to grow, this is your chance to turn that passion into a career as a CNC Operator 2. In this Level 2 role, you will operate, set up, adjust, program, and troubleshoot CNC machines and tooling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your focus will be on ensuring machines run smoothly at capacity without issue and are appropriately maintained.
You will be responsible for producing products by following work instructions, gauging parts, reading blueprints, and verifying that parts are manufactured to customer specifications. A key part of your day involves recognizing when an insert or product goes out of tolerance, stopping the process, and making necessary changes. You will also cross-train other team members on CNC machine operations, maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, and ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are met in the work area.
The work environment is a loud manufacturing setting (such as metal can or earth moving equipment departments). You will be exposed to various environmental conditions, and Fisher Barton provides safety footwear and prescription safety eyeglass benefits to support your safety.
Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to any status or characteristic protected by law. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
Fisher Barton is an equal opportunity employer who welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
