About the Role
The Machine Operator 1 role is the backbone of our day-to-day manufacturing operations, supporting the conversion of raw materials into finished products at our medical cannabis facilities. This position spans the entire manufacturing cycle, from botanical preparation to final product packaging. The ideal candidate excels in repetitive tasks with a strong attention to detail, ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and efficiency standards.
In this role, you will configure equipment, load and operate machines, and optimize performance to ensure full capacity. You will oversee maintenance, conduct regular quality checks, and address any issues or malfunctions that arise. While the role requires self-motivation and the ability to follow multi-layered instructions, it also offers the opportunity to engage in ongoing training to master new equipment. Teamwork is crucial; you may be asked to assist in other departments to help get products to patients, reflecting our shared goal of supporting the company's success wherever needed.
