About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a dedicated LPN/LVN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will provide bedside nursing, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and support individualized rehab goals. Working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, you'll help patients regain function and independence while documenting care, reinforcing education, and maintaining safety.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct bedside nursing care to rehabilitation patients under RN supervision
- check_circleMonitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to therapy
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- check_circleFollow infection control and safety protocols during all care activities
- check_circleParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences
- check_circleEducate patients and families on recovery processes, safety, and self-care techniques
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments according to physician orders
- check_circlePerform wound care and IV therapy as required for patient treatment
- check_circleCollaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians to develop and update care plans
- check_circleSupport rehabilitation goals by assisting patients with mobility and activities of daily living
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent LPN/LVN license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- verifiedIV therapy certification (preferred)
- verifiedRehabilitation nursing experience or CRRN (preferred)
Nice to Have
IV therapy certification. Rehabilitation nursing experience or CRRN.
