Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist in supervising the medication program and self-administration
- check_circleSupport completion of resident assessments and service plans
- check_circleParticipate in hiring and managing performance within the department
- check_circleAssist in training and orientation of new associates
- check_circleAssist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants
- check_circleProvide coaching and mentoring to department associates
- check_circleSupervise RSA staff during provision of care
- check_circleSupervise Resident Services Department associates including CNAs
- check_circleMaintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians
- check_circleAssist with clinical assessments and recertifications per ALSA requirements
Requirements
- verifiedLicensed Practical Nurse license
- verifiedBasic first aid and CPR certification
- verifiedTwo years clinical experience
Nice to Have
Experience in assisted living or long term care setting. Experience and/or special interest working with seniors.
