About the Role
This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team where passion and purpose come together to positively impact the lives of patients and our communities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care, working collaboratively with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Unlicensed Licensed Nurses (UNLs) to manage patient loads effectively.
In this role, you will support the care team by assisting with patient assessments, medication administration, and specialized care tasks. You will partner with RNs who have the highest acuity or heavy patient loads, and collaborate with UNLs to ensure comprehensive patient support. Your day-to-day impact includes performing trach care, dressing changes, and ostomy care, as well as managing NG tube insertions and feedings. You will also reinforce patient education and discharge instructions, ensuring patients and their families are well-prepared for their next steps in care.

Requirements
- verifiedLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days
- verifiedCollege Diploma in Licensed Practical Nurse
