About the Role
As a Center Medical Specialist, you will join an international team working to enhance the lives of millions by supporting our plasma donation centers. This role is designed for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), Registered Nurses, Paramedics, or EMTs who are looking for a position that combines clinical expertise with a unique mission. You will serve as the medical backbone of the donation center, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of every donor while maintaining the highest standards of care.
In this position, you will perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. Beyond clinical duties, you will build rapport with donors to ensure a positive experience, provide education on general health, and counsel donors regarding test results. You will also manage donor injuries, evaluate medical histories for continued suitability, and assist in training new employees. The role requires working independently to adapt to variable demands while maintaining strict confidentiality and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
