We thrive on change, and we believe you can too. At Octapharma Plasma, our mission is to strengthen the positive impact you have on patients' lives while offering you a level of excitement and compensation you deserve. Our rapidly expanding organization is built on the belief that no two days are the same; every situation brings exciting new challenges that we meet with genuine empathy, skill, and enthusiasm.
As a Medical Professional, you will be the heart of our donor center, ensuring the safety and well-being of every donor while maintaining the highest standards of compliance. This role is designed for those who find deep satisfaction in healthcare and want to make an outstanding impact on the community.
In this position, you will evaluate donor eligibility for plasmapheresis procedures and immunizations, conducting thorough medical history reviews and health assessments. You will serve as a vital link between donors and our Licensed Physicians, managing donor reactions, counseling those with abnormal test results, and ensuring all procedures adhere to strict FDA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations. Whether you are reviewing informed consent forms, managing complex donor data in our management system, or providing immediate medical care during complications, your work directly contributes to the life-saving plasma supply.
Your day will be dynamic, requiring you to balance clinical precision with compassionate customer service. You will interact with donors to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure they feel safe and informed. You will monitor donors for adverse reactions, document all activities accurately, and collaborate with the medical team to classify donors into appropriate programs. As you grow, you may also take on responsibilities as a Designated Trainer, mentoring new team members to drive training efficiencies and ensure compliance across the center.
