Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct bedside nursing care to adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments safely according to physician orders
- check_circleMonitor, record, and report patient vital signs and changes in condition
- check_circleAssist with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and initial assessments
- check_circleDocument all care, interventions, and patient education in the electronic medical record
- check_circleSupport patient mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
- check_circleEducate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and safety precautions
- check_circleMaintain infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
- check_circlePerform wound care, basic dressing changes, and basic IV therapy
Requirements
- verifiedActive LPN or LVN license in good standing with the state board of nursing
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- verifiedIV certification per state regulations (if applicable)
Nice to Have
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Previous inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience. IV certification per state regulations (if applicable).
