About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Your day will involve assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to address physical and psychosocial needs. A key part of your role includes counseling residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, while maintaining clear communication and confidentiality.
