As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will be an active participant in the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of every resident.
Your day will involve assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will utilize your nursing expertise to evaluate data, recognize problems, and respond effectively to emergent situations. Beyond clinical duties, you will counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, fostering effective working relationships with healthcare providers and the public while maintaining strict confidentiality.
This position is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, which offers monetary incentives to nursing professionals committed to serving in rural counties for a five-year period. In addition to the program's incentives, a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
