As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our GSS NE Albion facility, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Your day will involve assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, and documenting care outcomes. You will act as a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with healthcare professionals and supportive personnel to deliver comprehensive care. A key part of your role includes counseling residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans, while maintaining confidentiality and effective communication.
This full-time position is based at our Albion, NE facility (1222 S 7th St). You will work 12-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. This role is part of the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, which offers monetary incentives to nursing professionals committed to serving in rural counties for a five-year period.
Applicants must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license with the State Nursing Board.
